Author's Commentary
Here's our next new character! This (currently unnammed) Space Marine first appeared in the underrated classic mix-n-match genre compilation Defend Sheng Castle 2: Bride of the Gator. He is best known for his verbose, loud vocal style and often having problems with laser barriers, hence my representation of him here.
Sharp eyed readers will notice that the portal appearing today has different qualities than the portals seen previously... Yes, intentionally.

#6: Meanwhile... (2)

Panel 1: This comic takes place in a very blue hallway in outer space. There is a barred door at one end, next to which is a control panel, which an unnamed space marine is interacting with. At the other end of the hallway are two green lasers crossing the width of the room.
Space Marine: "Alright, just gotta hack open this door before the laser field can reach me!"
Panel 2: The door has opened slightly, although the green lasers across the hall are advancing. An alert icon has appeared above the control panel. At the same time, a glowing blue portal is appearing, with what appears to be a computer inside it.
Space Marine: "Making progress, looking good- Wait, what's that?"
Panel 3: A warning light has appeared above the door, and the door itself remains in the same position as the last panel. The green lasers are now halfway across the room. The blue portal and computer have fully appeared.
Space Marine: "A 21st century style computer setup? How retro! But what's it doing here?"
Panel 4: The door is now fully closed, with two warning lights flashing on top. The lasers have turned red, and are most of the way across the room now. The portal and the computer inside it are starting to fade out.
Space Marine: "Oh no, it's on red alert! The grid's locked me out! This is bad, man..."
